Art Clubs Kaderosi Art Club on a Tuesday, Kestrel Art Club on a Friday and both meeting in Kempshott Village Hall (Tel: 07799 693339).
Athletics – Basingstoke & Mid-Hants Athletics Cub are based at the Down Grange track and sports pavilion and involve men, women, seniors and juniors in a wide range of amateur track and field sports (www.bmhac.co.uk)
Ballet & Dance –The Dance Dept hold classes at Old Down Hall on Fridays for pre-school tots and other informal dance classes at locations in the adjacent area (www.dancedept.co.uk)
Boule –Racing Club Petanque is based at Basingstoke Rugby Club, Down Grange where they play (http://www.racingclubpetanque.com).
Bowls – Greens There are bowls clubs at Oakley (www.oakleybc.org.uk) and in Russell Howard Park in South Ham (www.howardparkbowls.co.uk)
– Indoor The Loddon Vale Indoor Bowls Club is located on the Basingstoke Leisure Park.
Cricket – Kempshott has a cricket pitch – but no cricket team. Basingstoke Cricket Club have their own ground near town centre. The Kempshott pitch in Stratton Park is used by other teams in the North Hampshire Cricket League.

Cycling – Hatch Warren and Beggarwood Cycling Club is the local leisure road cycling club (www.hwbcc.org) while there is also a road racing club in Basingstoke.
Dog Training – classes are held regularly at Kempshott Village Hall ( Dale 07957 8652 – no website)
Football – Basingstoke Football League based in Down Grange and uses Stratton Park
Gardening and Horticulture – Basingstoke Horticultural Society meets monthly at Kempshott Village Hall- 01256 324185 – no website
Golf – Basingstoke Golf Club (www.basingstokegolfclub.co.uk) and Dummer Golf Club (www.dummergolfclub.com) are the nearest clubs of the many in North Hampshire, there is also a driving range on the Leisure Park.
Girl Guiding -there are several guiding units in Kempshott for age ranges 5 – 14 (www.girlguiding.org.uk)
Health & Wellbeing
– Weight: Weight Watchers (WW) meet at Kempshott Village Hall and Slimming World meet at the Rugby Club
– Health Walks: there are healthwalks held across the Town daily – for details of the programme local to Kempshott consult (www.basingstoke.gov.uk/healthwalks)
– Healthy Eating & Community Gardening: with the accent on young people, is situated by Kempshott Village Hall and run by Inspero (www.inspero.org.uk)

Keep Fit – there are a number of local groups, mostly in Kempshott Village Hall

Nature Conservation – Kempshott has a number of wildlife rich natural green spaces within the ward and 4 very active groups working to conserve these spaces for the benefit of wildlife and residents. These are:

Swimming and water sports are located on the Basingstoke Leisure Park.
Tennis – there are six tennis courts which are open and free to use in Stratton Park but no tennis club at that location.
